Learning Objectives/Task Students will log in to HMH and read the short story Heads up, Humans. After reading, students will log in to Schoology and respond to the following questions. Question 1 What theme would you give the passage. Provide evidence to support your answer. Question 2 Provide a counter claim to the author's argument that was mentioned in the passage. Cite text evidence to support your answer. LEARNING OUTCOME: Students should be able to read given short stories and respond correctly to questions asked. Learning Objectives/Task Students will log in to HMH and review the passage Heads up, Humans. Students will then log in to Schoology to complete their multiple choice assessment called Heads up, Humans Multiple Choice. LEARNING OUTCOME: Students should be able successfully complete the given assessment. SOCIAL INTERACTION: THE TYPE OF SOCIAL INTERACTION IS EXPECTED/ALLOWED.

Learning Objectives/Task Students will log in to HMH and go back to their reading Heads up, Humans. Students will go to the critical vocabulary section (that's three arrows to the right of the reading). Students will complete section one and two in their journal book. Students with missing assignments will work on those assignments. LEARNING OUTCOME: Students should be able to use context clues to figure out the meaning of words.
