Learning Objectives/Task Class will be discussing argumentative writing. Students will get in groups of three to research the elements of an argument. Claim Reason Evidence Counter-Claim Rebuttal Students will practice by Making a claim, providing reasons and evidence for their claim, counter-claim and rebuttal. Teacher will discuss argumentative writing and parts of an essay. LEARNING OUTCOME: Students should be able to write an argumentative essay. SOCIAL INTERACTION: THE TYPE OF SOCIAL INTERACTION IS EXPECTED/ALLOWED
