Learning Objectives/Task Students will log in to their Mc Graw Hill account and watch the video preview of Hitler Youth: Growing up in Hitler Shadow. Students will then share their ideas about the story to come based on the preview. Students will then read the passage Hitler Youth: Growing up in Hitler Shadow. Students will write the following vocabulary words in their notebook. Students will use context clues to figure out the meaning of the words.
After reading, students will work with those at their table to discuss the first five think questions. Students will complete the think questions on Mc Graw Hill. LEARNING OUTCOME: Students should be able to read given short stories and respond correctly to questions asked. SOCIAL INTERACTION: THE TYPE OF SOCIAL INTERACTION IS EXPECTED/ALLOWED

Students will then log in to Schoology and complete their assessments from the reading. Task 1- Hitler Youth: Growing up in Hitler Shadow (Informational Text Evidence/Reasons and Evidence) Task 2-Hitler Youth: Growing up in Hitler Shadow (Writing Prompt) LEARNING OUTCOME: Students should be able to read given passage and respond correctly to questions asked.
