LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Learning Task: Students will spell words correctly. Students at this station will log in to clever and complete their assignment in the spelling classroom. Students with incomplete essay will also use this opportunity to complete and submit their essay. If students are finish early they will read a story of their choice from Ms. Rangel’s Digital Library (30 mins) LEARNING OUTCOME: Students should be able to spell words correctly. COLLABORATIVE STATION
Learning Objectives/Task Students will be places in groups of three. -Students will then log in to HMH and read the short story "My Favorite Chaperone" Students will discuss two analytical questions in their group. Students are expected to cite evidence to support analysis. Question 1 Describe Maya’s internal conflict when she interprets for the principal. Cite evidence from the selection to support your answer. Question 2 What theme about family is reinforced throughout the selection? Cite evidence from the selection to support your answer.
